Bush Tucker of BigCi, Blue Mountains

More images and info coming soon.

Images in this album were created during artist in residence program at Bilpin international ground for Creative initiatives (BigCi) , Blue Mountains NSW.

This new series of lumen prints (unique photograms on black&white photographic paper) were displayed as an installation at the BigCi Open Day on 27 November 2016 in conjunction with artist talks and demonstrations.

New biochrome images, prepared at the residency are still in the making and will be ready to exhibit later in 2017.

Post residency reflection:

“BigCi artist residency and Rae and Yuri’s vision and support allowed me to immerse in natural environment of the beautiful BigCi property and national parks surrounding the area, explore possibilities and ideas. It didn’t take long to pick bush tucker as the focus of my residency. Building on my previous medicinal plants research, I enjoyed creating a new body of work, a series of bush tucker lumen prints, and a series of biochromes, which will continue to develop after the residency is completed. The residency also provided very enjoyable and priceless place for meeting, sharing, working and discussions with other artists.” Renata Buziak
