The concept for this exhibition was to bring together works from art students, teachers and professionals from the areas of Printmaking and Photography at the Queensland College of Art (QCA) and SHARE them with fellow art lovers.

Due to the strength of the QCA’s Alumni Network and in particular, the proactive involvement of the exhibition’s Curator, Tadeusz Jacek Rybinski from UNDER the HOUSE of ART, it was possible to draw together a wide selection of artists for this project.

Established in 1881, the Queensland College of Art is Australia’s oldest art and design college and offers the widest range of visual art programs in Australia.

Over the past 127 years, the QCA has brought together some of Australia’s finest practioners and academics in visual art and design. It has produced thousands of professional artists, designers, photographers and film-makers who have helped shape art and design culture in Queensland, Australia and now Internationally.

Our programs include: Animation; Contemporary Australian Indigenous Art; Design … Visual Communication Design, Interior Design and Product Design; Film and Screen Media, Game Production; Fine Art …Print Media, Jewellery and Small Objects, Painting, Sculpture and Multimedia; Photography … Creative Advertising Photography, Photographic Art Practice, Photojournalism; Visual Media … Graphic Design, 3D Design, Digital Design, ePhotojournalism and Fine Art Practice.

Głównym założeniem tej wystawy było zebranie prac studentów, wykładowców oraz profesjonalistów z kręgów grafiki i fotografii, związanych z Queensland College of Art (QCA) w celu podzielenia się nimi z szerszym gronem miłośników sztuki. Dzięki mocnej sieci powiązań absolwentów QCA oraz wyjątkowo aktywnemu zaangażowaniu Tadeusza Jacka Rybińskiego z UNDER the HOUSE of ART w Australii, możliwe było zebranie tak licznej reprezentacji artystów dla tego projektu. Założony w 1881 Queensland College of Art jest najstarszą australijską szkolą sztuk pięknych oraz wzornictwa i oferuje najszerszy wybór kierunków artystycznych w całej Australii.

Od ponad 127 lat skupia najwybitniejszych artystów oraz akademików z zakresu sztuk pięknych oraz wzornictwa i równocześnie wykształciło tysiące profesjonalnych artystów, projektantów, fotografów oraz filmowców; ludzi którzy mieli wpływ na kształt sztuk pięknych i wzornictwa w Queensland, Australii, a obecnie również za granicą. Nasze kierunki obejmują: Animację Filmową, Współczesną Sztukę Aborygeńską, Wzornictwo, Komunikację Multimedialną, Projektowanie Wnętrz, Projektowanie Przemysłowe, Film oraz Media “Ekranowe”, Produkcję Gier; Sztuki Piękne: Grafikę Warsztatową, Złotnictwo Artystyczne, Malarstwo, Rzeźbę i Multimedia; Fotografię: Fotografię Reklamową, Fotografię Artystyczną, Fotografię Reporterską; Media Wizualne: Projektowanie Graficzne, Projektowanie 3D, Projektowanie Cyfrowe, Fotografię Dziennikarską oraz Edukację Artystyczną.

Te programy umożliwiają studentom zmienić swoje pasje w kariery zawodowe. Obecna wystawa “WESPÓL...”, jest dowodem rozwoju studentów od ich pierwszych lat studiów do poziomu profesjonalnych artystów.
