Post residency reflection:
“BigCi artist residency and Rae and Yuri’s vision and support allowed me to immerse in natural environment of the beautiful BigCi property and national parks surrounding the area, explore possibilities and ideas. It didn’t take long to pick bush tucker as the focus of my residency. Building on my previous medicinal plants research, I enjoyed creating a new body of work, a series of bush tucker lumen prints, and a series of biochromes, which will continue to develop after the residency is completed. The residency also provided very enjoyable and priceless place for meeting, sharing, working and discussions with other artists.†Renata Buziak
